On 2nd day’s play, it was nothing that was in favor of South Africa, the domination of Indian spinners on home soil continue showing it’s magic and Africa just concluded on 79 runs which is an absolutely low score in a test match.
J.P.Duminy was able to make highest on the board from Africa side, and score 35 runs by playing his natural game and his inning also include two massive sixes. The other side could not stay well and the wicket kept following and finally it was true that Africa could not even go beyond 100.
At Indian bowling side, it was the day of the spinners in wholly as Ashwin took 5 wickets, Jadeja took 4 and lastly Googly master Mishra was able to pick 1 wicket although he was given bowling very late and he was allowed to bowl only 3 overs until Africa went all out.
The very first over of the 2nd day was bowled by Ashwin and it was itself a wonderful piece of his art of turning bowls in various ways, the first four balls were pure off spin for the left handed batsman Elgar and the fifth ball was the new invention kind, A Slider, and Elgar could not read it and it was gone in stumps by hitting inside edge to his bat.
And then after the wicket kept following at fixed interval of time and no batsman could make a good partnership. And it was finished on 79 runs at last.
Finally we will say the pitch is absolutely bowling pitch with 100% spinner friendly. African teams lacks spinners like India has. So, the match will be crucial and may finished in 3 days itself just like the first match.
